Why Become a Donor?

Act as if what you do makes a difference.  It does.

The Need

As of June 2011, there were over 111,000 individuals on the national waiting list for an organ transplant.

In 2010, 6,500 people on the national waiting list died waiting for an organ.

With over 111,000 people on organ waiting lists right now, that means there are more than enough people waiting for an organ to fill a large football stadium twice over.
